The Director of the Diplomatic Institute Receives H.E. Dr. Norbert Lammert, Chairman of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and former President of the German Bundestag

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute, received His Excellency Dr. Norbert Lammert, Chairman of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and former President of the German Bundestag, who is currently visiting the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Diplomatic Institute and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, particularly in areas of diplomatic training, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives that promote international dialogue and mutual understanding.

Dr. Al-Horr emphasized the importance of partnering with global academic and policy institutions, commending the Foundation’s role in promoting democracy, dialogue, and shared human values. He also welcomed initiatives that contribute to the development of Qatari diplomatic talent and the country’s intellectual presence on the international stage.

Dr. Lammert expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and praised the Diplomatic Institute’s contributions to preparing future diplomats.
