Issue 34 Release of Diplomat Magazine

The Ministry of foreign Affairs released the issue No. 34 of Diplomat Magazine in quarterly copy issued on both English and Arabic languages. The Headline of the magazine cover page highlighted the meeting to reform the International Security Council which was held in Doha last January. This meeting has been opened by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammad Ben Abdul Rahman Al Thani; Minister of foreign affairs.
This issue editorial referred, also, to such meeting stating
"The Majority of the States who enjoy UN membership have been colonized in its first emergence year; 1945. Should the main idea from establishing the UN is to maintain security and peace; via consultations among sovereign States, of equal rights and duties, then International Security Council structure remains as it was without being changed, in spite of the States increasing number who are joining the UN and some importance is increasing steadily. It seems that the current UN System is no longer reflecting the reality of the new and changing balance of worldwide states' power. The issue also included complete cover as to such incident
Out of the topics; which the cover page included, the speech of His Excellency; Mr. Sultan Ben Saad Al Mareekhi; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, addressed before Human rights council in Geneva, on Qatar Stand towards such rights. Also the speech of His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Ben Hasan Al Hammadi; Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign affairs, in opening the senior workshop works on the role of GCC in responding to gross violations of human rights.
The issue also contained in "Our Ambassadors Section" an interview with His Excellency Mr. Naser Ben Rashed Al Nuaimi, Qatar Ambassador in Panama, whereas he talked about bilateral relations between State of Qatar and Republic of Panama as well as various cooperation scopes between both countries.
"Section lights" at the issue speaks about information on the International Labor Organization. Reports Section highlighted the International investment report 2016. The Essay wrote by His Excellency Ambassador Khalfan Al Mansouri titled " The Prince of State's international prize in terms of Anti corruption ….. came to enhance Qatari leadership as to challenges confrontation that faces humanity". Dr. Nozad Abdel Rahman Al Heeti, wrote under title " Economical Diplomacy: Qatar as Model".
In Important figures section, we can read brief curriculum of Sheikh Abdallah Al Salem Al Sabbah, Establisher of Kuwait constitutional State. Books Section also contained review of Dawwama Book: Fall in Endless war trap" composed by Mark Daner. The issue concludes its essays by the political dictionary.
It is worth mentioning herein that all the magazine topics are translated into English language, and is distributed among Qatar Embassies abroad. Moreover it shall be published in all its E-Websites. The magazine is intended also to be distributed to all Foreign Embassies who are accredited in Qatar.
