The Language Center was founded at the
Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in the state of
Qatar in 2005. The Language Center is dedicated to ensure the development of
MOFA diplomats' and staffs' skills in foreign languages. In cooperation with
top language schools, the Language Center delivers intensive language training
programmes in the following languages; Arabic, English, French, Spanish and
other languages. Today, language skills represent a critical skill and an
essential qualification for a diplomat in particular. Language proficiency is
key for preparing a diplomat and enabling them to understand the
tradition of a country and understand the culture of its people. In addition,
Language facility embodies a fundamental element to develop unique national
human resources. Resources who are capable of enhancing Qatar's Diplomacy and
are more effective at communicating Qatar's viewpoint regionally
and internationally
