Qatari Italian relations

             This lecture was held on November 15,2016, and  HE. Mr. Guido De Sanctis  ambassador of the Italian Republic to the State of Qatar was the speaker. He spoke about the history of Qatari –Italian relations since early seventy of the last century, and said Italy had voted in favor of Qatar accession to  the United nations. Affirming  the presence of Italian labor coming to the Gulf States, especially to Qatar, where  the number of Italian citizens who live here is 2100,HE.  Also spoke  about  the relationship between his country and the state of  Qatar which covers many fields, economic, military, cooperation and energy saying  Qatar is moving forward in the field of renewable energy, and there are projects and fruitful experiences like  the innovation of solar boards that are capable  to withstand the heat. He said,  Italy is looking to the advantage of these experiences.
