The Diplomatic Institute Concludes a Training Program for Administrators Transferred to the Diplomatic Service

15 May 2017, The Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded the Intensive Training Program Conducted for the Administration Personnel Reassigned to the Diplomatic Service. The training was organized from April 23 to May 15, with the participation of 15 administrators.
The closing ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Abdulaziz Abdul Qader Al Ahmad, Director of Human Resources Department at the Ministry, and Nadia Al Shaibi, Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, indicated in a speech at the conclusion ceremony the importance of the program, which the senior management of the ministry determined the necessity to include specific training courses within the program's activities.
He also urged the participants to apply these courses and reflect them on the practical level. He also stressed the importance of continuing to participate in the relevant training and seminars that eventually reflect on his performance and evaluation.
Mrs. Nadia Al-Shaibi, Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute, praised the efforts of the participants and their keenness to benefit from the courses and gaining experience and skills.
The training programme included theoretical and practical courses and lectures in a number of different areas, including diplomatic and consular service, protocol and etiquette, negotiation skills, and the history of Qatar. It also tackled important and contemporary issues such as foreign policy, political analysis skills, economic diplomacy and development.
