Participants in the 72nd session of UN General Assembly starting a training program

A training program organized by the Diplomatic Institute began on Sunday for participants in the 72nd session of the United Nations.
This training program under the guidance of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi will continue until 30 August.
The program covers a number of classes, including: introduction to the United Nations system, priority international issues on the 72nd session agenda, mechanism of the UN General Assembly and its six committees, assignments of diplomats participating in the UN session, drafting and writing reports of GA committees, the preparation and drafting resolutions and amendments, presentations skills, the blockade states efforts to promote bogus terrorist list, humanitarian work, and supporting Qatar's stance towards the blockade states campaigns.
The assistant director of the institute, Ms. Nadia Al-Shaibi, expressed her wishes to the participants in the program to make the most of these courses, which would develop skills in dealing with the United Nations mechanisms. She also thanked the lecturers in the program and wished them success in the delivery of their courses.
