Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute meets with the trainees of the new foundation program On 14 September an induction session was held for the new employees enrolled in the second foundation program for 2017. The session attended by Ms. Nadia Ahmed Al-Shaibi, Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute, and the head of the training and capacity building section at the institute. After welcoming the new trainees, Ms. Al-Sheebi provided a preview of the Diplomatic Institute main functions and the Foundation Program. She explained the objectives and programs aimed at raising the capacity of the ministry's staff and enabling them to learn of the pioneering experiences in the field of diplomatic work. She gave a brief description of the training program, including admission terms, objectives, duration, and importance to newly recruited employee at the ministry. She reminded the new trainees adhering to the timing of training courses and the necessity to participate in the complementary events, especially lectures, seminars and field visits. She urged the trainees to self-education following up political and economic developments at the local and international levels. At the end of the meeting, Ms. Al-Sheebi wished success to all trainees.
