The 12th cohort Graduation Ceremony. Dr. Al- Hammadi: We all represent Qatar abroad

The Foreign Ministry's Diplomatic Institute celebrated the graduation of the 12th cohort of the Foundation Program in the presence of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Bin Hassan Al- Hammadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Qader Al- Ahmad, Director of Human Resources Department, and Mrs. Nadia Ahmed Al-Shaibi, Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute.
Dr. Al-Hammadi stressed the importance of the program to be diverse ,too, in terms of syllabi and usefulness for both; the Ministry's staff and Qatari missions' abroad.
In a speech to the graduates, H.E. said: All the Ministry's staff; whether administrative or diplomatic, are deemed to be ambassadors for the State of Qatar, representing it abroad, and convey the message of His Highness the Amir. H.E. stressed the importance of mastering the Arabic language by the Ministry's staff, as a mother tongue, along with acquiring skills in foreign languages to be good ambassadors and representatives for the State of Qatar.
HE pointed out that maintaining the high status of the State of Qatar cann't be realized without the efforts of qualified human cadres who are capable of implementing the directives of the wise Leadership in all matters related to Qatar's foreign policy.
Mrs. Nadia Al-Shaibi, Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute, inaugurated the ceremony with a speech in which she said that the Institute has developed, in accordance with the directives of H.E. the Secretary General, some new syllabi within the Foundation Program in order to cope with the "blockade crisis". She noted that the Institute's programs aim at enabling the trainees to benefit from the leading experiences in diplomacy by hosting outstanding academics and diplomats. The Institute seeks to develop trainees' skills in negotiation and communication and enable them to engage in a constructive dialogue that would contribute in addressing mutual issues between the State of Qatar and the international community in all areas, she added.
In his address on behalf of the graduates, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani expressed his gratitude to H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs for supporting the staff, young people, and for showing concern for the new generations of diplomats.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman said: "On my behalf and the graduates' of the 12th cohort of the Diplomatic Institute, we promise to perform our vested tasks honestly, bearing in mind the noble directives of His Highness the Amir as saying: hard work, creativity, thinking about the future, constructive initiatives and attention to educational attainment in all disciplines, self-reliance and fighting idleness and dependency.
