Foundation Program for diplomats qualification, started

The Diplomatic Institute, on Sunday, began implementing its training programs for 2018 by opening the Foundation Program for the Ministry's staff who were selected to attend the program in order to be qualified for the diplomatic service.
Mrs. Nadia Ahmed Al-Shaibi, Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Institute, who opened the program in the presence of HE Mr. Saad Al Tamimi, Director of Financial Affairs Department, HE Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Subaie, Director of the Department of Consular Affairs, and Head of Training and Qualification Section at the Institute, Mrs. Al-Shaibi gave a brief overview of the main functions and sections of the Diplomatic Institute, the components and significance of the Foundation Program, as well.
She explained the objectives of the program that aims at qualifying the Ministry's employees and enable them to familiarize with outstanding experiences in diplomatic service. Her Excellency provided a brief description of the training program, including entry requirements and duration, and how it is important for the newly appointed employees at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mrs. Al-Shaibi reminded the new trainees of the need to adhere to the deadlines of the training courses and to engage in the related activities, especially lectures, seminars and field visits. She urged trainees to pursue self-education and follow up political and economic developments domestically and internationally.
At the end of the meeting, she wished success to all trainees.
