A delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs staff, including trainees of Foundation Program for the diplomatic work, visited the UN House in Qatar.

The delegation was briefed on the multifaceted work of the UN and the importance of multilateral cooperation in particular in the implementation of Agenda 2030 for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The delegation attended a number of meetings during which an explanation was introduced about the work of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), and the UN Population Fund (UNFPA). In addition to the management of the UN internal security, the explanation also included the UNICEF's work.
