The Diplomatic Institute Introduces a Lecture for Women Students of International Affairs at Qatar University.

The Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced a lecture for women students of international affairs at the University of Qatar on the work of international organizations and their role in establishing international peace and security and Qatar's relationship with these organizations.

The lecture, which was held at the Diplomatic Club, was addressed by His Excellency Ambassador Ali bin Khalfan Al-Mansoori, Her Excellency Sheikha Hanouf Al-Thani, Assistant Director of the International Organizations Department, and His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute.

Dr. Al-Horr welcomed the women students, stressing the importance of such lectures that raise awareness in their field of specialization.

His Excellency, Al-Horr, addressed the principles of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Amir's address at the inauguration of the 52^nd ordinary session of the Shura Council, he said: "His Highness' speech included good guidance on which various action plans and initiatives will be built that will contribute to the continuation of the achievements of the State of Qatar in various sectors and realizing of the goals of its National Vision 2030."

His Excellency Ambassador Al-Mansoori spoke on international organizations and their role in achieving international justice, peace and security, as well as on mediation and Qatar's active role in many international issues, especially with Gaza events. Ambassador Khalfan also referred to his experiences and work as a permanent delegate of the State of Qatar to the UN in Geneva.

Sheikha Hanouf spoke of international organizations and their role and the State of Qatar's relationship with them.

In conclusion, the lecturers answered the students’ questions, which focused on the role of organizations in achieving security in the light of Israel's aggression on Gaza.
