Director of the Diplomatic Institute Hosts President of Bridgewater State University

The Director of the Diplomatic Institute, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Horr, welcomed Mr. Frederick W. Clark, President of Bridgewater State University, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, to discuss potential collaboration between the institute and the university.

The delegation accompanying Mr. Clark included Dr. Doug Shropshire, Vice President for Financial Affairs and Chief Financial Officer; Dr. Jakari Griffith, Acting Dean and Senior International Officer at the Menok Institute for Global Engagement; Dr. Jabbar Al-Obaidi, Academic Director for International Student Recruitment and Global Partnerships; and Dr. Madhu Rao, Director for the Middle East and North Africa from Bridgewater State University.

During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for academic collaboration and the exchange of educational programs, as well as ways to enhance mutual understanding between cultures. His Excellency Dr. Al-Horr emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships with international educational institutions, highlighting the role such partnerships can play in developing students' skills and capabilities.

For his part, Mr. Clark expressed Bridgewater State University's interest in strengthening cooperation with Qatar, praising the efforts made to advance higher education.

This visit is part of the Diplomatic Institute's efforts to enhance international relations and establish fruitful educational partnerships.
