Director of the Diplomatic Institute Receives the Delegation of the Japanese National Institute for Defense Studies

H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute, received the delegation of the Japanese National Institute for Defense Studies in an official visit aimed at enhancing cooperation between the Diplomatic Institute and Japanese defense research institutions.

During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities for mutual collaboration in the fields of defense studies and diplomacy, as well as exchanging expertise on regional and international security issues. The conversation also focused on strengthening mutual understanding between the two countries through joint educational and research programs.

The Japanese delegation praised the significant role played by the Diplomatic Institute in developing diplomatic professionals, emphasizing the importance of such visits in enhancing relations between defense and diplomatic academic institutions.

In turn, H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Horr highlighted the importance of these visits in fostering research and educational collaboration between the Diplomatic Institute and international institutions, noting that such cooperation contributes to a deeper understanding of global security challenges and the promotion of mutual understanding.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to explore new avenues for future cooperation between the Diplomatic Institute and the Japanese National Institute for Defense Studies, aiming to further develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and Japan in defense and diplomacy.
