
The Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training and education. This comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and developing areas of academic and training cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Abdulsamad Khidirov, Director of the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, which was held in Doha.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of diplomatic training and qualification, exchange academic and professional expertise, and organize joint programs, workshops, and seminars, in a way that contributes to developing diplomatic competencies on both sides and exchanging best practices in the fields of diplomatic education and international relations.
This memorandum comes within the framework of the two institutions’ commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and expanding partnership prospects in research, training, and capacity building, in a manner that supports bilateral relations and contributes to preparing qualified diplomatic cadres capable of keeping pace with the requirements of modern diplomatic work.
