
By the invitation of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a panel discussion was organized in collaboration with the Jusoor Institute at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, titled:
“The Implications of the U.S.–Israeli–Iranian War on Qatar.”
This event was held within the framework of promoting strategic discussions and exchanging perspectives on current regional issues, in a way that contributes to enhancing strategic understanding of changes in the regional and international environment, and supports the capabilities of diplomatic cadres in analyzing current issues.
The session featured the participation of the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (Jusoor), Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Shehhi, along with a number of speakers as follows:
Dr. Fawzi Al-Badawi, Senior Researcher and Program Director at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (Jusoor) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. He specializes in medieval Jewish–Islamic relations, modern Jewish fundamentalist movements, and Israeli studies.
Dr. Ibrahim Arafat, Professor of Political Science at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Associate Research Professor at the Center for International Studies.
Dr. Al-Hafiz Saleh, Research Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Research, specializing in philosophy in political economy and international development. He previously served as an Associate Professor at the College of Economics and Administrative Sciences, University of Zanzibar.
The session was attended by a number of Qatari diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in addition to members of the country’s diplomatic missions abroad.
