International Seminar on the Role of Islamic Centres in Promoting Islamic Civilization
The Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Centre of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan and the Qatar Committee for the Alliance of Civilizations, organized an international seminar entitled “The Role of Islamic Centres in the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uzbekistan in Promoting Islamic Civilization.”
The seminar was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library, in the presence of a number of officials, academics, and researchers from the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The seminar explored the role of Islamic centres and institutions in introducing Islamic civilization and highlighting its heritage and intellectual, scientific, and cultural contributions. It also showcased the experiences of Qatar and Uzbekistan in this field, contributing to the enhancement of knowledge and cultural exchange and strengthening cooperation between relevant institutions in both countries.
