Founding Program 2

HE Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute, and in the presence of HE, Ambassador Abdul Aziz bin Abdul-Qadir, Director of Human Resources Department, inaugurated the Founding Program 2, which was held at the Diplomatic Club Training Room. It will continue until 10th January 2019 and targets a group of male and female staff with expertise at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Under this program, the trainees will acquire advanced diplomatic skills.

Training program for Arab diplomats from the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Somalia, where Dr. Majid Mohammed Al-Ansari, Assistant Professor of Political Sociology, Department of International Affairs, Qatar University, and Director of Policy Management - Institute of Social and Economic Research Survey, gave lectures.

HE Mr. Abdelaziz  Al-Sabaa, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Algeria to the State of Qatar, assured that his country called for resolving the crisis through dialogue since the first day of Qatar blockade.

Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Ali Mohamed Ali affirmed that his country supports the call of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani to establish a security agreement in the Middle East, which intends to maintain the regional security, since the Arab security agreement has collapsed. Therefore, a new collective agreement in this regard should be concluded.

  The Diplomatic Institute hold a panel session on "the new media and its role in the conflicts - the Gulf crisis as a model. HE Sheikh Saif bin Ahmed Al Thani, Director of the Government Communication Office, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, HE Lulwah Al-Khater, the journalist Abdulaziz Al Ishaq, spoke at the session which moderated by Jaber Al Harmi, Manager of Al-Arab-Daily.

The Diplomatic Institute, on Sunday, began implementing its training programs for 2018 by opening the Foundation Program for the Ministry's staff who were selected to attend the program in order to be qualified for the diplomatic service.
